Terms and conditions for our packages 

These terms apply to our packages (detailed here).

General

Our aim is to provide the best experience for you while in our care. Every consideration has been made to ensure your requirements have been met based on the information provided when arranging the package. In the event of any last-minute changes that we are unable to accommodate due to limiting factors, the package details will remain the same. If the changes incur additional costs these will be agreed upon prior to delivery of service.

Luggage transfers

Please ensure your luggage does not exceed 20kg per bag.
All luggage is to be clearly labeled, including any food carriers.
While all care is taken to ensure that no damage occurs to your baggage, we will not be held
responsible for any loss or damage to luggage while in our possession.

Accommodation

Every care has been taken to ensure your accommodation meets your requirements based on your provided information. Our hosts take great pride in their properties and welcoming hospitality. If you have a concern this must be raised with us at the earliest possible opportunity.

Bike Hire

Valley Tours & Transfers in conjunction with Hauraki Bike Hire undertake to repair your cycle or, if available, provide you with another cycle if you have any problems with your cycle that are caused by fair wear and tear. In the event of damage caused by incorrect handling or negligence by the rider, we reserve the right to reclaim monies from you for any damage or losses beyond the cost of the rental.

Pricing

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of any Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated to be otherwise.

Deposit and Payment

A deposit will be required to secure the bookings. The date for the deposit will be indicated in your quote. The balance of the booking is to be paid no later than 10 days and will be advised within the quote document.

Cancellation of Package

  • Cancellation within 10 days of departure: no refund – full fare fee applies

  • Cancellation up to 10 days prior to commencement date – full refund

No refunds will be made for early returns or changing your mind on the day.

Complaints and claims procedures

Please contact us immediately. We will endeavour to rectify the situation to the best of our ability.

COVID 19

If travel restrictions and COVID-19 alert levels are raised to or above alert level 3 prior to your departure, Valley Tours & Transfers offers you the opportunity to reschedule your departure dates. As some services are carried out by other operators, we may incur costs due to cancellations; this will be at cost to the customer. If travel restrictions and COVID-19 alert levels are raised to or above alert level 3 during your trip, you must follow government guidelines and return to your place of residence and may not be entitled to a refund.
